Impatience

Dear Puppy,
My search for you has been a little discouraging.  Maybe I'm just being impatient, but in three weeks you'd think I'd have a little bit of hope.
I was really hopeful we'd be connected through AZ Golden Rescue but there is just one thing that I can't abide ... a co-ownership policy.  Our family is just too uncomfortable with that.  So on we go.
At the moment, really, we're nowhere near ready to adopt you anyway with everything that's going on with our mothers, but July or August would be so much more fun to look forward to if you were in it.  (July and August in Phoenix ... you'd be the only thing to look forward to!)
So, here we are looking a whole new list of what I need from you:
   --no preference of gender or color (although a lighter male would be nice:)
   --26" or thereabouts at the shoulder
   --attentiveness and temperament requisite of a service dog
   --reasonable certainty of strength and health
   --can get along well with Sophie
I'm still praying, sweetie, for your health and your spirit.  Forgive me for my impatience.  I'm already in love with you, and I wish you were lying at my feet right now.  But you will be ... I truly believe that God will bring us together when the time is right.
