Dear Cubby,
I hope you can see me from Rainbow Bridge so you know just how much I love you and miss you. My heart is healing but there's a huge scar over the big chunk of it you took with you five and a half months ago. I'll never get over it; I'll just go on day after day, giving thanks for the nearly twelve years I got to have you in my life. It really helped making this video, being reminded of the full life you had. It was wonderful, wasn't it?
Your honourary little brother is doing so well. Piper is an excellent service dog, and is maturing more and more every day. He's hardly afraid of his own shadow anymore, though we still have a ways to go with that one. You'd be so proud of him. He learned so much from you.
So, my Golden angel, you have a good rest at the Bridge and we'll see each other again soon. I believe that wholeheartedly. I love you, Cubby, and I always will.
