How did you like dog-sitting Lucky for a couple of days while Joey, Dana, and Austin were in California? So many new experiences all at once ... and you thought you were all done learning new things. Not quite, big boy ... you've barely begun!
Now that you're coming up on three years old, I was interested to see how you'd play Uncle Cubby to a three-month-old puppy who, if one could bottle up all his energy, could light up Broadway for a week. He was all over you ... jumping, nipping, and stealing toys right out of your mouth ... and not once did it bother you in the least. I was really proud of you, and rather amazed as well because outside of puppy class you had never been around puppies or even little dogs.
It wasn't exactly the calm, quiet weekend I pictured, as one tends to forget how babies keep you hoppin', but we did have a lot of fun, didn't we? And it was cool helping to train Lucky even a little bit. I like this dog-sitting thing. Let's do it again soon.

Puppy is so cute. Cubby doesn't look too happy about having a baby to care for, but patient and understanding. I can't wait to see Cubby again.
